Less than 24 hours after WWE’s biggest PPV of the summer, Summer Slam, WWE brought out all the stars to Denver’s Ball Arena on Sunday night.

The card featured several championship matches including a Summer Slam triple threat rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship between, Charlotte Flair (champion), Rhea Ripley, and Nikki A.S.H. This bout showcased all three competitors in a hard-hitting 15-minute match where ultimately The Queen, Charlotte Flair retained her title.
WWE Champion and Denver native, The Almighty Bobby Lashley, retained his title against the New Day’s Xavier Woods. Lashley has now held onto the WWE Title for over 5 months and continues to stack his resume after defeating WWE Hall of Famer and Legend, Goldberg at Summer Slam.
The evening ended with the main event six-man tag-team match featuring The Universal Champion, The Head of the Table, Roman Reigns. He was flanked by his cousins and WWE Tag-Team Champions The Usos. They took on the iconic Rey Mysterio with his son Dominik, and The Prince, Finn Balor. Reigns spent much of the match toying with the crowd who fed off of even the slightest smirk. In the end, Reigns delivered a massive spear to Rey Mysterio to secure the victory.
WWE is back in full swing on the road after performing in front of a digital audience for the better part of the pandemic and it’s clear that fans have longed for it as the evening was playful and well-received from the Denver faithful.
