On both upcoming weekends of October 4-6 and 11-13, Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival is set to hit Texas for its twelfth year, bringing with it two weekends of fabulous live music and family fun. Taking place on the 36 acres in Zilker Park, Austin City Limits (ACL Music Festival) brings more than 130 acts from all over the world to play rock, indie, country, folk, electronic and more on eight music stages.
Impressive headline acts are schedule to hit the stages, including Depeche Mode, The Cure, Muse and Kings Of Leon, Atoms For Peace, Lionel Richie, Phoenix and Wilco. Some of the other acts scattered around are just as impressive and extremely diverse. Other than music, there will also be tons of other festival goodies to enjoy while you’re there, including delicious local eats, shopping, and free fun and activities for the kids. Rosetta Stone will present ‘AustinKiddie Limits’ which is family friendly fun available to kids of all ages and free to kids 10 and under with a ticket holding adult. Austin Kiddie Limits will be open from 11:00am to 4:30pm daily and give families an opportunity to escape the crowds and join the kids for creative and informative activities.
Located right in the center of Zilker Park, the ACL Art Market booths are open during the entire festival where you can purchase anything from boots to accessories. The ACL Art Market will offer a wide range of art, photography and fashion pieces on sale. For last minute festival needs, a General Store is also on hand for festival patrons.
