BFD 2016 featuring Shinedown, 3 Doors Down, Sixx A.M.

On a night with a sky that looked to have an apocalyptic making, Gexa Energy Pavilion managed to avoid the weather and BFD 16 delivered an exceptional line up this past Sunday.

Headlined by Shinedown, BFD included the likes of 3 Doors Down, Sixx A.M. (who hours earlier played another festival in San Antonio), Collective Soul, Drowning Pool and more.

The crowd poured in early on in the day and went along for the ride.  Talking to several people throughout the crowd, it was clear anticipation was through the roof for Sixx A.M. Recently releasing their fourth studio album, ‘Prayers for the damned’, the trio of James A. Michael, D.J. Ashba, and Nikki Sixx delivered a robust performance that left everyone wanting more.

Shinedown and Sixx A.M. will venture out on tour along with Five Finger Death Punch later on in 2016. Shinedown will first trek across the country this summer however headlining ‘Carnival of Madness’ with Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry and Whiskey Myers.

He left his job and became a student at the Art Institute of San Antonio and started to actively further his knowledge about photography. In December 2013, he completed the Digital Image Management program at the Art Institute of San Antonio.

Matt enjoys working with individuals, groups, musicians, actors, and anyone who wants to create a great experience.
