Childish Gambino Cancels ACL Fest Performance

INJURY FORCES POSTPONEMENT OF “THIS IS AMERICA” TOUR

(Austin, TX – September 26, 2018) ACL Fest organizers have been informed that Childish Gambino has been forced to postpone his tour due to an injury and unfortunately will be canceling his performances at this year’s festival.

Justice will headline on both Saturdays (October 6 and 13) alongside Metallica, and Travis Scott will headline both Sundays (October 7 and 14) alongside Arctic Monkeys. The updated performance schedules can be found at www.aclfestival.com.

Fans with a Weekend Two Saturday 1-Day Ticket may exchange at no charge for a Weekend Two Sunday 1-Day Ticket by contacting Front Gate Tickets.. Exchanges must be requested by Tuesday, October 2 at 11:59 pm CT.

UPDATE: 

  • French indie pop quartet Phoenix have been added to Weekend One’s lineup playing Sunday evening at 6pm set at the Honda Stage.
  • New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne has been announced for weekend two of the ACL Festival as a last minute addition following Childish Gambino’s cancellation. He will be playing Saturday evening at 7pm at the HomeAway stage.
