On Saturday, November 30. 2013, blues-Rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa performed to a sold-out ACL Live at The Moody Theater. Bonamassa performed both an acoustic set, and after a brief 15 minute set change, came back for a more conventional and colossally powerful full electric set. It was very obvious that his Austin audience was seriously impressed with his stellar playing, energy, and comfortable interactions with the audience.
It is impossible to overstate how phenomenal Bonamassa is at progressive blues-rock, making every note matter and resonate emotionally. He is one of the finest musicians in the business today and both sets performed added up to an amazing night of music. This amazing guitar maestro should definitely return to the Musical Capital of the World!
