The San Antonio Rodeo is underway and the Entertainer schedule remains one of the strongest lineups imaginable with Lauren Alaina lighting up the arena on Tuesday, February 11th. With the band already in place, the opening to In My Veins rang out as the spotlight lit up Alaina.  The American Idol alumn was magnetic, with all eyes on her as she sang through an incredible set of good-time Country hits such as Country In Me, Getting Good, Georgia Peaches. Lauren Alaina’s set was truly a spectacle, matching her bold stage presence with a flawless vocal performance. Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the performance was during her breakout hit, Ladies In The 90’s, receiving deafening cheers from every woman in the stadium. Between jamming out with her band or drawing massive energy from her fans in the stands, Alaina’s charisma was superb reinforcing her status as a true Pop idol. At the end, she bid her audience a good night and closed her time on stage with Road Less Traveled, giving her fans the perfect close to an incredible night.

Michael Mullenix
Growing up around the world, Michael developed a taste and appreciation for all styles of music. While studying film making at Boston University, he dove headfirst into a mosh-pit and never came out. It was in Boston that he combined his love of film and photography with his drive and passion for being a chronicler of the underground music scene. After graduation he headed to Los Angeles and for over a decade has worked with some of the top musicians and actors in the entertainment industry. Lured to Austin by the cultural explosion in the music and film scenes taking place there, he relocated two years ago and describes Austin as a cultural Shang Ri La!
