I shoot live music performances, concerts, and portraits. I love the excitement of entering a venue, knowing that I’ll be photographing a concert and enjoying the energy of the crowd. There’s nothing like being in a venue and looking at the expressions on the faces of people who are all transfixed by the talent on stage. I shoot about 120 shows each year, averaging 2 bands per show, as well as several all-day and weekend festivals in and around Southern Ontario. From the large venues to very small ones, bright lights or barely lit stages, I hope that my photos capture the enjoyment the artists have in doing what they love to do.

I spent 13 years in Rock Radio in San Antonio, Tx. I wore several hats, including Imaging Director and On-Air personality. I worked thousands of concerts from the radio side, but concert photography is very new. I'm also a trained Chef, who owned 2 restaurants CBQ Eatery & CBQ Smokehouse.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Denise is a proud Texan and supporter of live music. Although she can be most often found in the San Antonio/Austin area at a honky tonk or music festival listening to Texas Country Music, Denise is a lover of all genres and her favorite part about contributing to local publications is being introduced to and exposed to different music.

Professional Photographer with a background in art and animation, shooting Weddings, Model Portfolios, Music, and Events, currently living the dream in Austin, TX!

I love music; I love crowded venues, loud music, and sweat-soaked fans. I love the sound of a venue opening its doors to the public. After nearly two decades in both Dallas and Austin working in concert production and security, I decided to pursue my real passion, working in the Arts. Whether it is screening cinematic works or photographing concerts and special events, I believe in capturing the essence of life and representing it in a creative effort.
