WWE Monday Night Raw, slammed into the AT&T Center June 1st in San Antonio and treated fans to not one, not two, but three matches featuring Roman Reigns. Reigns was pitted against King Barrett, Mark Henry, and the ‘new face of fear’ Bray Wyatt, by ‘The Authority’ in attempts to take Reigns out of the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match in two weeks. Reigns won all three matches, solidifying his spot in the match.
The evening also featured a successful Diva’s title defense of Nikki Bella over Paige, the return of in ring action of both Randy Orton and the Big Show, and a war of words with NXT Champion Kevin Owens and the most known figure in all of WWE, John Cena. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was also featured in a dark match with Cena.
Perhaps the moment of the evening came after the event was over and John Cena pulled a young fan into the ring with him that had held a sign saying ‘I’m beating cancer’. A very class act from Cena for a night a young fan won’t soon forget.
