It was MotoGP weekend at Austin’s Circuit Of The Americas.  Spain’s Alex Rins was the big winner finishing the championship 20 lap race in 41’45.499 with an average speed of 98.43 mph.  Rins’ fellow countrymen and 7-time pole position winner at Circuit of the Americas Marc Marquez, led the race till lap 9 when he crashed at turn 12.  Crowd favorite, Italy’s Valentino Rossi, took the lead and retained his dominance till Rins overtook him on lap 17 at turn 7.
