Austin City Limits Music Festival opened on Friday, October 5, 2018. The day featured the first ever ACL appearance from Sir Paul McCartney, Odesza, Hozier, Father John Misty, Brockhampton, The National, Gryffin, Khalid, Manchester Orchestra, Fickle Friends, Jungle, Greta Van Fleet, Red Yarn, David Byrne, Golden Dawn Arkestra, Borns, Noname, Mikky Ekko, Sir Sky, Alvvays, Bishop Briggs, The Weather Station, The School of Rock, Gang of Youths, Cuco, lovelytheband, Ravyn Lenae, Big Theif, Ben Kweller, Natalie Prass, Fatai, The Barton Hills Choir, Asleep at the Wheel, Topaz Jones, RF Shannon, Wesley Bray & The Disciples of Joy, The Coronas and NAM.
