Grumpy Cat, Waffles, Lil BUB, and more felines attend SXSW Austin

Grumpy Cat, arguably one of the most famous cats in the world, was at SXSW for a brand activation with Friskies Tasty Treasures to raise consumer awareness of the brand’s bacon-flavored cat food products and to donate 50,000 meals to shelter cats. But Grumpy Cat wasn’t alone this year as Nala Cat, Waffles, SamHasEyebrows, Oskar the Blind Cat and his brother Klaus were on hand at the grand opening on Friday, March 13th when Friskies revealed its bacon-centric art gallery. Between the most fascinating Internet cats, bacon and art, the experience should be one that is different in every way possible.

We spotted Lil BUB at Austin Pets Alive! Tarrytown Adoption Center where she met fans and helped raise money for animals in need.
