Melinda Gates and a panel of innovators, including Stacy Brown-Philpot, CEO of TaskRabbit, and Nina Shaw, a founding partner in the entertainment law firm of Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein & Lezcano, held a dynamic conversation with Chief Content Officer of Hearst Magazines, Joanna Coles. The keynote panel took place on Monday, March 11, 2018, as part of the SXSW Conference and discussed the way new technologies, new business models, and new social movements are redefining what it means to go to work. In the past half-century, the American workforce has transformed, but the American workplace has barely changed at all. The panel discussed the limitless potential—for inclusion, for creativity, and for building the first workplace in history that truly works for everyone.
