Justin Timberlake headlined the all-star conclusion of the Myspace Secret Shows presented by Chevy along with Questlove and RJD2  on Saturday, March 16 at the Coppertank in Austin.  This multi-talented, Grammy® and Emmy® award-winning performer took the stage beginning at 12:30 am and performed for the jammed packed crowd until 1:15 am.   Prior to Justin Timberlake‘s arrival, Grammy Award-winner Questlove along with prolific DJ and producer RJD2 performed in the Secret Show finale.  Myspace Secret Shows, presented by Chevy, were completely free to fans on a first-come, first-served basis, but only to those who connected to the artists on their Myspace page.

Performing exclusively at the Myspace Secret Show during SXSW, Justin Timberlake is preparing to release his highly-anticipated third solo studio album, “The 20/20 Experience,” due out on RCA Records on March 19.  Fans can stream the complete album for free on the iTunes Store now. Timberlake recently brought a 14-month high ratings boost to last weekend’s Saturday Night Live, where he hosted for the fifth time.  He also just wrapped up a week-long set of appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where he debuted songs from the new album. Timberlake and JAY Z will launch their Legends Of The Summer Stadium Tour in Toronto, ON on July 17.

Acclaimed drummer, DJ, producer, culinary entrepreneur, author, and member of The Roots – Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, is the unmistakable heartbeat of Philadelphia’s most influential hip-hop group. He is also the Musical Director for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where his beloved Roots crew serves as house band. Questlove will get on the ones-and-twos to spin his unique blend of hip hop, classics, and everything in between. An icon and crowd-pleaser, Quest definitely set the stage for an epic night that’ll go down in SXSW music history.

The Myspace Secret Show SXSW finale closed with hip-hop and electronica artist RJD2, who’s prepping to release a new album under his own label, RJ’s Electrical Connections, later this year. If you think you haven’t heard of him, chances are you actually have. RJD2’s haunting melody, “A Beautiful Mine,” has been the theme song for AMC’s Mad Men since 2007.
