The Mountain Goats, the “preeminent legends of lo-fi,” brought their show to the Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater stage on Saturday, September 8, 2018. the tour is in support of their 2017 album “Goths.” Bandmembers include founding member John Darnielle on vocals, guitar, keyboard; Peter Hughes on bass and backing vocals; Jon Wurster on the drums; and Matt Douglas on flute, saxophone, clarinet, guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals. Al Riggs opened the show.
