David Byrne played a show of his own mid-week between his two weekend sets at Austin City Limits Festival on October 10, 2018. The ACL Fest Late-Night Show show was a whirlwind consisting of a dozen musicians engaged in choreographed motion. The stage was sparse – so sparse that there were no mic stands, amps or monitors to get in the way of the constant motion. It was truly a visual and aural spectacle! Rapper-singer Topaz Jones opened the show.
