Kicking off the weekend in Austin, R&B Singer-Songwriter Miguel Lit up the Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater and turned it into the largest dance party in the city. A multiple level riser transformed the normal stage at Stubb’s with him centered at the top in between his drummer and keyboardist, while his bassist and guitarist worked their magic on the ground level.

Miguel started off the night on “Criminal”, and then worked through all but one song off his 2017 release, “War & Leisure.” After the initial intro, he ditched the mic-stand and began dancing and
bringing his audience into the rhythm through songs like “Wolf,” “Sure Thing,” “Adorn,” and “The Thrill.” The crowd was dolled up and dressed to the 9’s, looking to dance, and soon began kicking up the dust and gravel of the outdoor amphitheater.

After an hour of leading the party, Miguel brought the night to a close on his fan-favorite and virtual catch-phrase, “Sky-Walk.”
