The Recording Academy Texas Chapter 25th Anniversary Celebration

The Recording Academy Texas Chapter held their Anniversary Gala in celebration of 25 years of service to the music community on July 18, 2019 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin Texas.. Academy members and industry supporters enjoyed an evening of performances by GRAMMY-winning and GRAMMY-nominated Texas Chapter members including Yolanda Adams, Asleep at the Wheel, Bun B, Marcia Ball, Campanas De America, Little Joe Hernandez, Hanson, Los Texmaniacs, Midland, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, and Brian Courtney Wilson. Proceeds from the event benefitted the Recording Academy’s non-profit health and human services charity, MusiCares.
