Born and raised in the South Bay area of LA, TOKiMONSTA is an electronic musician worth checking out! Jennifer Lee, who performs as TOKiMONSTA, recently underwent two surgeries and battled through Moyamoya, a rare, progressive brain disease. She battled through months of intermittently losing both the ability to hear and speak and through that recovery, went on to produce her 3rd studio album Lune Rouge, a remixed LP with reworks done by Sofi Tukker, Felix Cartal, Kingdom, DâM FunK and more. TOKi’s production is redone far beyond her typical ambient pop.
