TRAIN and GOO GOO DOLLS
Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, Denver, Colorado

Train and Goo Goo Dolls played the final spring concert of 2019 on Thursday night at an absolutely packed Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre.
Goo Goo Dolls took the stage just as the sun began to set. Frontman Johnny Rzeznik proclaimed that the evening would be ‘one giant sing-along’, and that’s exactly what it was. Sixty non-stop minutes from the Grammy-nominated group spanning their hits until just as the dusk settled in.
Train led off with ‘Calling all angels’ (which became a staple at Los Angeles Angels games) to set their tone. ‘Cannons’ of confetti rained into the crowd during the second song and let Greely, CO know that they were in for a good time. Johnny from Goo Goo Dolls joined Train for a Tom Petty tribute as a fun surprise midway through the event. Train would later carve out a ‘Queen’ cover with ‘under pressure’. Train rolled through eighteen songs to send home 18,000 happy concert-goers.
