The Three-time GRAMMY-winning multiplatinum artists Zac Brown Band returns to Austin at the Austin360 Amphitheater on the “Welcome Home” 2017 Tour, with special guest “Darrell Scott”.
The evening started with the very talented “Caroline Jones” on stage with a beautiful Texas sunset in her eyes as she played tune from her new album “Bare feet”. I watched many people in the crowd singing along with every lyric she sang.
“Darrell Scott” followed, after Caroline had played her heart out to the fans. He started out alone with a “Collings” electric guitar. Four songs into his short set, members of the Zac Brown Band started trickling onstage to join Scott as they sat around the stage and finally Brown himself became part of Scott’s backing band. Eventually, Scott gave way to the Zac Brown Band .
The Zac Brown Band opened with “Homegrown” and the crowd was on their feet for most of the night. The band has great versatility, playing songs from the new album, previous albums, along with several covers that were just amazing to hear from these well accomplished musicians, such as, Use Somebody “Kings of Leon”, Whipping Post “The Allman Brothers Band”, Enter Sandman “Metallica”, and finished the encore with Paradise City “ Guns and Roses”. What an amazing concert!! Great night of Live Music!!
