Matchbox Twenty frontman, Rob Thomas, brought his solo ‘Chip Tooth Tour’ to Zappos Theatre at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV.
On a Friday night on the Las Vegas strip when there’s casinos, clubs, restaurants and tons of other shows, the Zappos Theatre filled with fans to witness 90 minutes plus from Thomas and his band. Dawning a denim jacket with a golden ’20’ emblazoned onto the back, Thomas weaved through his career as a solo artist as well as bringing in tunes from his Matchbox Twenty era. The three-time Grammy Award winner proclaimed that if the crowd did their part that they were sure to make a few more bad decisions while in Sin City. The chemistry from Thomas to the crowd, front to back, was palpable throughout the evening.
Thomas continues his tour for ‘Chip Tooth Smile’, his newly released record of April this year, with dates running all the way into November. More can be found at robthomasmusic.com

About the Photographer
Originally from North Carolina, Matt moved to San Antonio in 2010 to be with his fiancé. It was only after realizing that he was unhappy with what he was doing professionally that he decided to take the passion he had in music and photography to another level. He left his job and became a student at the Art Institute of San Antonio and started to actively further his knowledge about photography. In December 2013, he completed the Digital Image Management program at the Art Institute of San Antonio.
