Wizard World Comic Con Austin announced August 28, 2015 that one of the greatest boxers of all time, the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and a pop culture phenomenon Mike Tyson, will make his second scheduled Wizard World appearance when he attends Wizard World Comic Con Austinon Friday andSaturday, October 30-31. “Iron Mike,” a member of both the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame, has also appeared in more than 25 movies and television shows, notably The Hangover, Rocky Balboa and “Entourage.”
Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round, in the process becoming the youngest heavyweight champion of the world at age 20. His 50-6 record (2 no contests) included WBA, WBC and IBF titles.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The 22nd of 24 events currently scheduled on the 2015 Wizard World calendar, Austin show hours are Friday, October 30, noon-8 p.m.; and Saturday, October 31, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Wizard World Comic Con Austin is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday night.
